S. Semmalai
S. Semmalai is an Indian politician active in Tamil Nadu. He is the incumbent Member of the Legislative Assembly (India), member of the state legislative assembly (MLA) from Mettur (state assembly constituency), Mettur constituency. He has been elected four times to the Tamil Nadu state assembly and once to the national parliament of India (2009–14). Career Semmalai has won four elections in his career spanning from 1980 to the present. *In 1980, he won his first ever election. 2016 Tamil Nadu State Assembly Election
The Fifteenth Legislative Assembly Election was held on 16 May 2016 for the 232 seats (except Thanjavur Assembly constituency, Thanjavur and Aravakurichi Assembly constituency, Aravakurichi for which held on 26 October 2016) of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, Legislative Assembly in the state of Tamil Nadu in India.
