S. Mohinder
Bakshi Mohinder Singh Sarna (24 February 1925 – 6 September 2020), known professionally as S. Mohinder, was an Indian music composer. Early life He was born in Sillanwali Tehsil, Sargodha District in 1925. Mohinder's father Bakhsi Sujan Singh was a sub-inspector in the police forces. Later, his father also served in Sahiwal (old name Montgomery area). He was a student of a famous musician at that time in Sahiwal named Pandat Ratan Moorti who lived at Babay Wala Chowk. His father Bakshi Sujan Singh was transferred and the family moved to a comparatively larger city Lyallpur, British India now Faisalabad, in Pakistan, where young Mohinder, in the 1930s, started an apprenticeship with an accomplished Sikh religious vocalist Sant Sujan Singh. Vinod (28 May 1922 – 25 December 1959) was a famous Indian film music director of the 1950s. In 1949, he composed a hit Punjabi film song ''Lara Lappa Lara Lappa Lai Rakhda'' sung by Mohammed Rafi and Lata Mangeshkar, in the film ''Ek Thi Ladki'' (1949). The real name of Vinod was Eric Roberts; Vinod was a professional name given by the Bombay Film Industry. Early life Vinod was born Eric Roberts in Lahore on 28 May 1922. The Indian paisa (plural: ''paise'') is a (one-hundredth) subdivision of the Indian rupee. The paisa was first introduced on 1 April 1957 after decimalisation of the Indian rupee. In 1955, the Government of India first amended the ''Indian Coinage Act'' and adopted the "metric system for coinage". Prithviraj Kapoor (born Prithvinath Kapoor; 3 November 1906 – 29 May 1972) was an Indian actor who is also considered to be one of the founding figures of Hindi cinema.
