S.O.S. (Smile On Smile)
is the 7th single (music), single by Japanese boy band Kis-My-Ft2. It was released on March 27, 2013. "Kiss U Mai (Kiss your mind)" was a commercial song of glico chewing gum "Watering kiss mint gum". This chewing gum commercial was based on the concept of "Member of Kis-My-Ft2 are good at kiss" and featured the expressions of the members as they kissed. In the music video, women wearing decorations that resemble lips dance, and flames appear to burst into flames when the members kiss. "S.O.S. (Smile on Smile)" was also a commercial song for DHC Corporation "Medicated Acne Control Series" featuring Kis-My-Ft2. The song is fast and refreshing, with roller skates as the trademark of Kis-My-Ft2, and the music video uses a conveyor belt for the production. Kis-My-Ft2
is a six-member Japanese boy band under Starto Entertainment. They are known for their performances on roller skates. The group is named after one letter of each member's initials and after "the anecdote that tap dancer Gregory Hines kissed the shoe of esteemed Sammy Davis Jr. The group was formed in 26 July 2005 when they were trainees (Johnny's Jr.) and debuted on 10 August 2011. The members of this group are Kento Senga, Toshiya Miyata, Wataru Yokoo, Taisuke Fujigaya, Yuta Tamamori and Takashi Nikaido. They have been active with seven members including Hiromitsu Kitayama since their debut, but since Kitayama left the group in August 2023, they are currently active with six members. The Oricon Singles Chart is the Japanese music industry-standard Single (music), singles popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Chart rankings are based on physical singles' sales. Until 2017, Oricon did not track download sales. In Japan, physical sales decreased sharply in the 2000s, while download sales hit three to four times the amount of single sales. In November 2017, Oricon introduced its first digital songs chart, separate from its main physical singles chart.
