Rüdiger Heinze
Rüdiger Heinze (born December 14, 1971, in Riesa, East Germany) is a film producer and screenwriter. Life and work In 1997 he went to Ludwigsburg to study film direction and later film production at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. In 2003 Rüdiger Heinze earned his university degree. He has worked several times as a film director. In 2008 he co-founded the production company ''Zum Goldenen Lamm''. Rüdiger Heinze produced the film ''The Two Lives of Daniel Shore'', which was written and directed by Michael Dreher and was released in 2009. Riesa
Riesa (; ) is a town in the district of Meißen in Saxony, Germany. It is located on the river Elbe, approximately northwest of Dresden. History The name ''Riesa'' is derived from Slavic ''Riezowe''. This name, romanised as "Rezoa", appears first in October 1119 in a document from Pope Callixtus II. The world's first 110 kV power line was installed between Riesa and Lauchhammer in 1912. Between 1952 and 1994, Riesa was the seat of a district. During the 1980s, Riesa was the headquarters of the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany's 9th Tank Division. On the 11th of January 2025 the far-right party Alternative for Germany, AfD held their federal party conference in Riesa. Around 12,000 people protested the conference and blocked entrances to the town. Population history The town grew from the start of the 20th century due to industrialisation. Michael Dreher (born 1974 in Ruit) is a German film director and screenwriter. Life and work Michael Dreher was born in Ruit, Ostfildern, Baden-Württemberg. In 1996, he started to work as production manager and thereafter, in 1997, he studied film direction at the University of Television and Film Munich. Michael Dreher finished his study in 2006 with a successful diploma- and short film ''Fair Trade'', which he produced together with Karim Debbagh and which was nominated for the Student Academy Award. Bezirk Dresden
The Bezirk Dresden was a district (''Bezirk'') of East Germany that lasted from 1952 to 1990. Dresden would be reabsorbed back into Saxony after the reunification of Germany.
