Röt (Baiersbronn)
Baiersbronn is a municipality and a village in the district of Freudenstadt in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. It is situated in the Black Forest on the Murg river. Nearby is the mountain of Rinkenkopf (759.6 m) with its hillfort, the Rinkenwall. Administratively, Baiersbronn consists of the following nine villages: * Baiersbronn * Friedrichstal * Huzenbach * Klosterreichenbach * Mitteltal * Obertal * Röt-Schönegründ * Schönmünzach-Schwarzenberg * Tonbach In its current form, Baiersbronn was created in the 1960s and 1970s by joining five municipalities. Its main industry is tourism. Baiersbronn is twinned with Midhurst in West Sussex, England. Reichenbach Priory, a medieval monastery building, is located in the village of Klosterreichenbach. Baiersbronn is famous as a centre of haute cuisine in Germany, having 8 Michelin stars in total. Buhlbachsee
The Buhlbachsee is a tarn (lake) in the northern Black Forest on the southwestern edge of the parish of Baiersbronn in the county of Freudenstadt in Baden-Württemberg. Since 1 January 2014 it has been part of the Black Forest National Park. The tarn lies around 4.5 kilometres southeast of the summit of the Schliffkopf in the Buhlbach valley and less than half a kilometre northeast of the Black Forest High Road. The lake can be reached on foot over various paths including from Kniebis, Baiersbronn-Obertal or from the Black Forest High Road. The tarn is about 160 metres wide and almost circular in shape. Only in the northeast, where the Buhlbach stream, which enters from the southwest, leaves the lake again is there a "nose" that gives it a length of about 200 metres. David Siegel (ski Jumper)
David Siegel (born 28 August 1996) is a German former ski jumper and representative of the club SV Baiersbronn. We was three-time medalist at the 2016 Nordic Junior World Ski Championships, with gold individually and as a team, and bronze in the mixed team competition. Career Siegel starts for SV Baiersbronn. He began his international career on 25 and 26 February 2012 with two competitions in the FIS Cup in Baiersbronn, where he finished fourth and eighth. In August of the same year, Siegel competed for the first time in the Alpine Ski Jumping Cup in Einsiedeln. On 16 and 17 August 2014, Siegel made his debut in the Continental Cup in Kuopio. He finished 19th and 40th in these competitions. Since then, regular appearances in the FIS, Alpine and Continental Cup followed. Emil Georg von Stauss (often rendered Emil Georg von Stauß, 6 October 1877 in Baiersbronn – 11 December 1942 in Berlin) was a German banker and business executive who served as Director-General of the board of the Deutsche Bank. Originally a member of the conservative German People's Party, he became a supporter of Adolf Hitler's Nazi Party. He was a close friend of Hermann Göring and helped to finance the Nazis rise to power. Stauss held a seat in the '' Reichstag'' and several other posts between 1933 and his death.
