Réka Dabasi
Réka Dabasi (born 24 December 1996) is a Hungarian ice hockey player and member of the Hungarian national team. She plays in the European Women's Hockey League (EWHL) with Hokiklub Budapest. In July 2021, she was selected second overall by the Toronto Six in the inaugural NWHL International Draft and, in May 2022, she became the first Hungarian player to sign with a Premier Hockey Federation (PHF; called NWHL until 2021) team after signing a contract with the Metropolitan Riveters for the 2022–23 season. Playing career Dabasi has represented Hungary at ten IIHF World Women's Championships – twice at the Division II A level, three times at the Division I B level, three times at the Division I A level, and at the Top Division tournaments in 2021 and 2022. The 2018 IIHF Women's World Championship Division I was two international ice hockey tournaments organised by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The Division II Group A tournament was played in Auckland, New Zealand, from 8 to 14 April 2013. The Division II Group B tournament was played in Puigcerdà, Spain, from 1 to 7 April 2013. 2012 IIHF Women's World Championship Division II
The Division II tournament was held in Maribor, Slovenia, from March 25 to 31 for Group A. Group B was contested from March 10 to 16 in Seoul, South Korea. In both tournaments the first placed team was promoted and the last placed team relegated, so, the Group B winner moved up to Group A, and the Group A winner moved up to Division I Group B. The last placed in Group A was relegated to Group B. While the rules stated that the 5th and 6th placed teams in Group B must enter a qualification tournament for next year if more member nations apply to compete, this did not happen. 2012 IIHF World Women's U18 Championship – Division I
The 2012 World Women's U18 Championship Division 1 tournament was played in Tromsø, Norway, from 29 December 2011 to 4 January 2012. The qualification tournament was played in Asiago, Italy, from 29 November to 4 December 2011. Featuring the "biggest success in Hungarian women's hockey" the young Magyars won all ten of their games and get the opportunity to compete with the elite hockey nations in 2013.
