Ryley Stoddart
Ryley Stoddart (born 15 October 1999) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL). He is a small defender. He made his debut in round 10, 2018 against the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba. Stoddart originally played for the Eastern Ranges in the TAC Cup. He recorded the second-best running vertical leap at the AFL Draft Combine, at . Stoddart was drafted by Sydney with pick 53 in the 2017 AFL draft, and wears number 33. He was touted as a possible round one debutant by Swans captain Josh Kennedy. However, he was overlooked and later injured his back in a practice match against the GWS Giants. Greater Western Sydney Giants
The Greater Western Sydney Giants (officially the Greater Western Sydney Football Club and colloquially known as the GWS Giants or simply GWS or Giants) are a professional Australian rules football club based in Sydney Olympic Park which represents the Greater Western Sydney region of New South Wales. The Giants compete in the Australian Football League (AFL), and entered the league in 2012 as the competition's 18th active club. Joshua P. Kennedy (born 20 June 1988) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the Hawthorn Football Club. The son and grandson of former Hawthorn players, Kennedy was originally recruited to Hawthorn in the 2006 national draft under the father–son rule. He debuted for the club during the 2008 season, but was traded to Sydney prior to the 2010 season, having played 13 games for Hawthorn. An inside midfielder, Kennedy became a star player for Sydney. He has won the Bob Skilton Medal three times as the club's best and fairest (2012, 2015, 2016) and also played in a premiership in 2012. The Talent League (also known as the Coates Talent League under naming rights and previously as the NAB League and TAC Cup) is an under-19 Australian rules football representative competition based in Melbourne and run by the Australian Football League (AFL). It is based on geographic regions throughout country Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne with each team representing one of twelve Victorian regions, while a thirteenth team from Tasmania was reintroduced in 2019. The competition is the primary sources of recruitment for the clubs of the AFL with around three quarters of all players selected from its ranks in each AFL draft. The AFL Draft Combine, formerly known as the AFL Draft Camp, is a gathering of prospective talent, where selected potential draftees display their athletic prowess and relevant Australian rules football skills. Over four days participants are required to undergo a series of medical, psychomotor, athletic and fitness tests as well as interviews conducted by the 18 clubs in the Australian Football League.
