Ryan Dvorak
Ryan Michael Dvorak is an American politician from the state of Indiana. A member of the Democratic Party, Dvorak is a member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing the 8th District since 2002. Biography After graduating from Penn High School in 1992, Dvorak earned a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame (1996), and a J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law (2008). Ryan is also a practicing attorney with May Oberfell Lorber, the oldest law firm in northern Indiana. Dvorak served as a senior aide to Congressman Tim Roemer in Indiana and Washington, D.C. from 1996 to 2001. Dvorak ran Roemer's successful 1998 and 2000 congressional campaigns. Michael Dvorak
Michael A. Dvorak (born October 24, 1948) is an American lawyer and politician who formerly served as an Indiana State Representative and the St. Joseph County, Indiana, prosecutor. Early life Dvorak was born October 24, 1948, in South Bend, Indiana. Dvorak earned a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University Chicago in 1970. He earned a Juris Doctor from Western State College of Law in 1975. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1975 and the Indiana State Bar Association in 1977. Career Dvorak served as a deputy prosecutor in Modesto, California, from 1975 through 1977. He worked in private legal practice from 1977 through 2002. He also worked as a public defender in South Bend, Indiana, from 1977 through 1986. Tim Roemer
Timothy John Roemer (born October 30, 1956) is an American diplomat and politician who served in the United States House of Representatives from 1991 to 2003 as a Democratic Party (United States), Democrat from Indiana's 3rd congressional district. Subsequently, he was the president of the Center for National Policy (CNP), a Washington, D.C.–based national security think tank. Net metering (or net energy metering, NEM) is an electricity billing mechanism that allows consumers who generate some or all of their own electricity to use that electricity anytime, instead of when it is generated. Scott Pelath
Scott Douglas Pelath (born July 9, 1970) was the Minority Leader of the Indiana House of Representatives. From 1998 to 2018 he represented Indiana's 9th District, which currently covers portions of LaPorte County and Porter County in Northwest Indiana. Upon his retirement from the Indiana legislature, Pelath became Executive Director of the Kankakee River Basin and Yellow River Basin Development Commission. Linda Lawson (politician)
Linda C. Lawson (born June 29, 1964) is an American politician and law enforcement officer who served as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives from 1998 until her retirement in 2018. Career Lawson is a 24-year veteran of the Hammond Police Department. She became the first female captain to serve the department after working as a patrol officer and a member of the sex crimes and domestic violence divisions.
