Ryan Casciaro
Ryan Casciaro (born 11 May 1984) is a retired Gibraltarian football defender who played for Gibraltar Premier Division side Manchester 62 and the Gibraltar national team. After spending the majority of his senior career at Lincoln Red Imps, he joined St Joseph's on 5 August 2018, he joined Manchester 62 on 4 February 2021. International career Casciaro made his international debut with Gibraltar on 19 November 2013 in a 0-0 home draw with Slovakia. This was Gibraltar's first game since being admitted to UEFA. Victoria Stadium (Gibraltar)
Victoria Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Gibraltar. It is currently used mostly for football matches, but also hosts the annual Gibraltar Music Festival. It is located close to Gibraltar Airport just off Winston Churchill Avenue. It was named after the wife of Gibraltarian philanthropist John Mackintosh. Despite initial plans to replace the stadium in the 2010s, the Gibraltar Football Association purchased the stadium from the Government of Gibraltar in April 2017 in order to improve and renovate it. The redevelopment of the stadium is due to start in late 2022, with the national team announcing they will play UEFA and FIFA games in Faro, Portugal. The Gibraltar national football team is the representative association football team of Gibraltar, a British Overseas Territory located at the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula. It is controlled by the Gibraltar Football Association (GFA), the governing body of the sport there. It competes as a member of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA). They first applied for UEFA membership in 1997 which was rejected, as UEFA would only allow membership for applicants recognised as sovereign states by the United Nations. The Gibraltarians (Spanish: ''gibraltareños'', colloquially: '' llanitos'') are an ethnic group native to Gibraltar, a British overseas territory located near the southernmost tip of the Iberian Peninsula at the entrance to the Mediterranean Sea. Origins Some Gibraltarians are a racial and cultural mixture of the many immigrants who came to the Rock of Gibraltar over 300 years. Following its capture by an Anglo-Dutch force in 1704, all but 70 of the existing inhabitants of Gibraltar elected to leave with many settling nearby. Lee Henry Casciaro (born 29 September 1981) is a Gibraltarian footballer who plays as a forward for Lincoln Red Imps and the Gibraltar national team. With three international goals, he is Gibraltar's all-time leading scorer since joining UEFA, followed by Roy Chipolina, Joseph Chipolina, Jake Gosling and Liam Walker. He is the brother of Ryan Casciaro and Kyle Casciaro who have also played for the Gibraltar national team. Kyle Casciaro (born 2 December 1987) is a Gibraltarian Association football, footballer who plays for F.C. Bruno's Magpies, Bruno's Magpies, and the Gibraltar national football team, Gibraltar national team, where he plays as a Midfielder#Winger, winger or Forward (association football), forward. Club career Casciaro came through the ranks of Lincoln Red Imps F.C., Lincoln Red Imps with brothers Ryan Casciaro, Ryan and Lee Casciaro, Lee, becoming ever present in the dominant Red Imps team that won 6 of its 14 consecutive league titles from 2010 to 2016.
