Ryan Brawley
Ryan Brawley (born 2 February 1986) is a Scottish professional boxer fighting in the lightweight division. He was the winner of the sixth Prizefighter tournament featuring boxers in the lightweight category. As an amateur Brawley fought for Springside amateur boxing club under the guidance of John Mullen. He won 50 out of 58 fights and won 5 Scottish titles 2 British titles and won the 4 nations. Brawley represented Scotland in the 2003 junior European championships one of only two representatives from Scotland, David Ellis being the other. Both boxers lost in their opening bouts. Professional career Brawley's professional debut came on 19 September 2005 with a victory over Peter Buckley at the St. Andrews sporting Club in Glasgow. Prizefighter Series
The Prizefighter series was a professional boxing tournament created by boxing promoter Barry Hearn and aired on Sky Sports. The format has an initial eight fighters, who compete in four quarter-finals of rounds (number and length of the rounds is same as in amateur boxing) followed by two semi-finals and one final all on the same night. The total prize money of the tournament is £80,000 with the winner of the tournament taking home £32,000, a figure that has increased from the initial top prize of £25,000 when the tournament first aired in April 2008. There have been 34 Prizefighter tournaments so far featuring 14 different weight divisions. The last tournament was held in 2015. Peter Buckley (boxer)
Peter Buckley (born 9 March 1969) is a retired English journeyman boxer who competed from 1989 to 2008. Although he most notably fought around the Featherweight division, he competed at a number of weight divisions up and down on either side. Pro career Buckley turned pro in October 1989, when he fought Alan Baldwin from Brixham at the Colosseum, Stafford, West Midlands, England, it was a close fight which ended in a draw. Buckley lost 256 of his 300 contests, which is the second most in boxing history behind Reggie Strickland.
