Jovan Ružić
Jovan Ružić (; 12 December 1898 – 25 September 1973) was a Serbian-Yugoslav footballer. He was one of the most important personalities in the early period of Yugoslav football. Playing career Club Born in Belgrade, he started playing football in 1911 in the youth team of SK Srpski mač which was one of the first football clubs in Belgrade. A year later he moved to another Belgrade club, SK Slavija, and then in 1913 he became part of the founding members of SK Velika Srbija, a team that will be renamed into SK Jugoslavija in 1918 and will dominate domestic football in the 1920s. He debuted for Velika Srbija being only 15. When the World War I started most sporting activities were suspended and, in order to escape the harsh time Serbia was going through during the war, Ružić decided to move abroad and joined the Serbian army's retreat through Albania. Branko Ružić (sculptor)
Branko Ružić (4 March 1919 – 27 November 1997) was a prominent Croatian painter, sculptor and professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, Zagreb. Early days Branko Ružić was born in Slavonski Brod to Katarina (born Blažeković) and Antun Ružić, as the youngest of four children. When he was six years old his parents moved him to Vinkovci where he started school. Ružić showed a passion and skill for drawing from an early age and by the time he was in secondary school, he was already recognized by his art teacher who used to take him, along with his more advanced colleagues (one of them was painter Slavko Kopač), to paint in the open air. After secondary school, Ružić has attended a few universities before he eventually entered the Academy of Fine Arts to study sculpture in 1940. Branko Ružić ( sr-Cyrl, Бранко Ружић; born 14 December 1975) is a Serbian politician who served as the minister of education from 2020 to 2023. A member of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), he previously served as minister without portfolio in charge of European Integration from 2013 to 2014, as minister of public administration and local self-government from 2017 to 2020, and as first deputy prime minister of Serbia from 2020 to 2022. On 7 May 2023, Ružić announced his resignation as Minister of Education and was officially dismissed by the National Assembly on 29 May.
