Ruud Vormer
Ruud Vormer (born 11 May 1988) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Belgian First Division A side Zulte Waregem, on loan from Club Brugge. Club career Early career Vormer started his professional career with AZ and made his debut for the club aged 18. Two year later he joined Roda JC. He then joined Feyenoord on a free transfer in the summer of 2012. Club Brugge Vormer joined Belgian side Club Brugge on 1 September 2014 on a three-year deal. Vormer was named Club Brugge's player of the season during the 2015–16 campaign, featuring in 3,547 minutes or 69.1% of the club's play, and also contributed with seven goals and added a further six assists. On 24 February 2017, Vormer scored twice in a 5–0 win over Zulte Waregem. He would go on to win the Belgian Golden Shoe in 2017. 2006–07 Eredivisie
The 2006–07 Eredivisie season began on August 18, 2006. The season saw PSV Eindhoven quickly building a gap with the other teams. After 20 matches, the club was 11 points ahead of AZ and 12 points ahead of Ajax. The lead quickly dissipated in the 13 matches that followed. A draw of PSV at FC Utrecht in the penultimate round saw AZ and Ajax catching up. The three clubs were all on 72 points from 33 matches, with the AZ on top due to goal difference. The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. Contested by 18 clubs since the 2020–21 season and reduced to 16 teams from the 2023–24 season onwards, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Challenger Pro League. 2014–15 Feyenoord Season
The 2014–15 season was Feyenoord's 107th season of play, it marked its 59th season in the Eredivisie and its 93rd consecutive season in the top flight of Dutch football. It was first season with manager Fred Rutten. The club was busy during the summer transfer window, selling or releasing of 12 players and signing 13 new players. Feyenoord had a bad start of the season, dropping to 15th place in the league after losing three and drawing two of its first six league games.
