Ruth Zakarian
Ruth Zakarian (born February 6, 1966) is an American actress and beauty queen who was the winner of the first ever Miss Teen USA 1983 pageant in Lakeland, Florida. She also competed at Miss USA 1984 but unplaced. Miss Teen USA An Armenian American, Zakarian was born in Amsterdam, New York and represented the state of New York at the Miss Teen USA pageant. Before then, she was a babysitter for Jessica Collins, Miss New York Teen USA 1988 and first runner-up to Miss Teen USA 1988. In her interview during the pageant, Collins called attention to this fact with Zakarian in attendance. After Miss Teen USA Zakarian later worked as an actress under the stage name of Devon Pierce. Miss New York Teen USA
The Miss New York Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of New York in the Miss Teen USA pageant. It is directed by D&D Productions. In 1983, New York became the 1st state ever that won the Miss Teen USA title for the first time. New York is also one of only five states to have won the Miss Congeniality award at least two times. Mahdiya Chowdhury of New York City was crowned Miss New York Teen USA 2022 on June 4, 2022, at the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in Niagara Falls, New York. Early life Hayek is of Czech and German descent on her father's side and Norwegian, Scottish, Irish, and English on her mother's side. Lorraine Elizabeth Downes (born 12 June 1964) is a New Zealand dancer and beauty queen who won the Miss Universe title in 1983 and the New Zealand version of the reality TV show '' Dancing with the Stars'' in 2006. Early life Downes was born in Auckland to Lloyd and Glad Downes. She is one of four daughters, Her sisters are Sue, Jenny and Carolyn.
