Ruta 2 (Paraguay)
National Route Number 2 (officially, PY02, better known as ''Ruta Dos'') is one of the most important highways in Paraguay, which connects the two major cities in the country, Asunción and Ciudad del Este. Crossing the Departments of Paraguay, departments of Central Department, Central, Cordillera Department, Cordillera, Caaguazu Department, Caaguazu and Alto Paraná Department, Alto Paraná. In 2019, the between Ciudad del Este and Caaguazú were doubled. In 2024, the duplication of of the highway between the cities of Ypacaraí and Caaguazú was completed. Asunción
Asunción (, ) is the capital and the largest city of Paraguay. The city stands on the eastern bank of the Paraguay River, almost at the confluence of this river with the Pilcomayo River. The Paraguay River and the Bay of Asunción in the northwest separate the city from the Occidental Region of Paraguay and from Argentina in the south part of the city. Ypacaraí
Ypacaraí () is a town in the Central Department of Paraguay on the Lake Ypacarai. On the Paraguayan highway system, it is located between Asunción and Caacupé, near Areguá and San Bernardino. Known as the "City of Folklore" after the Ypacaraí Festival, it is located on the Ybytypanemá mountain range, which is in the Los Altos mountain range, near the Ypacaraí Lake. In 2020, the village had a population of 28,283, and is 64.1 m above sea level. Notable agricultural crops of the area include tobacco and cotton. Fernando De La Mora (Paraguay)
Fernando de la Mora () is a city located in the Central Department, and is part of the metropolitan area of Asunción, in Paraguay. With an estimated of 183,390 inhabitants, the city is the seventh most populated of the country. The city is divided in two areas: the South area and the North area, with a total surface of 21 square kilometers. The Port of Paranaguá is one of the main ports of Brazil and Latin America. It is in the city of Paranaguá, in the Brazilian state of Paraná, is the second largest port of Brazil in tonnage and the third in container shipping. Cordillera () is a department in Paraguay. The capital is the city of Caacupé.
