Russell E. Harrison
Russell Edward Harrison (31 May 1921 – 5 January 2014) was a Canadian banker who served from 1973 to 1976 as president and from 1976 to 1985 as chairman of the board of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. After serving with the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion in World War II, Harrison joined the Canadian Bank of Commerce in November 1945 in Winnipeg. Beginning in 1953, Harrison held several managerial position with the Bank of Commerce in Ontario and Quebec, and after its merger with the Imperial Bank of Canada in June 1961, with the new Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. In 1969, Harrison was appointed an executive vice-president at the bank's head office in Toronto, and in 1970 was elected a director. In December 1973 he succeeded Jeffery Page Rein Wadsworth as the bank's president, and in December 1976 succeeded Wadsworth as chairman of the board. Harrison retired as chairman in January 1985. Grandview, Manitoba
Grandview is an unincorporated urban community in the Grandview Municipality within the Canadian province of Manitoba that held town status prior to January 1, 2015. It is located 45 kilometres west of the City of Dauphin along the Valley River. Grandview Manitoba is home to NHL's Ryan Pulock. The community was named for the picturesque views of both the Duck Mountains to the north and the Riding Mountains to the south. The main access to the community is Provincial Highway 5. Crohn's Disease
Crohn's disease is a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that may affect any segment of the gastrointestinal tract. Symptoms often include abdominal pain, diarrhea, fever, abdominal distension, and weight loss. Complications outside of the gastrointestinal tract may include anemia, skin rashes, arthritis, uveitis, inflammation of the eye, and fatigue (medical), fatigue. The skin rashes may be due to infections, as well as pyoderma gangrenosum or erythema nodosum. The Mount Royal Club is a private social club in Montreal, Quebec. The club was founded as a gentlemen's club in 1899 by a breakaway group from the Saint James's Club, but in 1990 became mixed-sex. In its prime, the Mount Royal was Canada's most prestigious club and was an integral part of Montreal's Golden Square Mile society. During the age when Montreal was the center of commerce in Canada, the club's membership counted many of the country's most powerful executives, bankers, financiers, and industrialists. The Mount Royal's clubhouse on Sherbrooke Street was completed in 1906 and was designed by McKim, Mead & White of New York.
