Russ Schoene
Russ Schoene ( ; born April 16, 1960) is a retired American professional basketball player and former assistant men's basketball coach at the University of Washington. Schoene starred at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where the 6-10 forward led the team to two straight Southern Conference championships (1981 and 1982) and an NCAA tournament appearance in 1982. As a senior, he averaged 13.6 points and 7 rebounds a game, and earned league tournament MVP honors. The Philadelphia 76ers selected Schoene in the second round of the 1982 NBA draft (45th pick overall). He was traded along with a 1983 first-rounder (23rd overall– Mitchell Wiggins) and a 1984 second-rounder (29th overall– Stuart Gray) from the 76ers to the Indiana Pacers for Clemon Johnson and a 1984 third-rounder (48th overall–Georgia forward James Banks) during his rookie campaign on February 15, 1983. Trenton, Illinois
Trenton is a city in Clinton County, Illinois, United States. The population was 2,690 at the 2020 census. There is, however, a small portion of St. Clair County, Illinois inside Trenton. Casad in 1836 from Trenton, New Jersey, he gave his new town the name Trenton which he named after the place he was from. The planned town was supposed to be built just north of the Ohio and Mississippi Railroad in an area which is now called the “Old Trenton”. The 1982 NBA draft took place on June 29, 1982, at the Felt Forum at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. The #1 selection from this year's draft, James Worthy, was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers despite them being one of the best teams in the NBA the previous season. Their selection at #1 this year related to a previous trade that the Lakers made with the Cleveland Cavaliers, which had them trading their first round pick for Don Ford back in 1979. Terence Stansbury
Terence Rudolph Stansbury (born February 27, 1961) is an American former professional basketball player and coach. At a height of tall, he played at the shooting guard position. College career Stansbury, a graduate of Newark High School, played college basketball at Temple University. As a junior, he averaged 24.6 points for the Temple Owls and 18.6 points as a senior. Stansbury starred at Temple from 1980 to 1984, scoring a total of 1,811 points (15.7 points per game). Mike D'Antoni
Michael Andrew D'Antoni (born May 8, 1951) is an American-Italian professional basketball coach and former player who most recently served as a coaching advisor for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). While head coach of the Phoenix Suns, he won NBA Coach of the Year honors for the 2004–05 NBA season after the Suns posted 33 more wins than the previous season. Stuart Gray (basketball)
Stuart Allan Gray (born May 27, 1963) is an American/Panamanian former professional basketball player. At tall, he played at the center position. Early life Gray attended John F. Kennedy High School in Granada Hills, California and graduated in 1981. Basketball career Gray attended UCLA for three seasons between 1981 and 1984, and was afterwards selected with the 29th overall (5th in 2nd round) pick in the 1984 NBA draft by the Indiana Pacers. He played with them for five seasons (1984–85 – 1988–89) before moving on to the Charlotte Hornets (1989–90). During a game on December 12, 1989, where the Hornets were visiting the Los Angeles Lakers, Gray fouled James Worthy, then proceeded to get in a physical altercation with multiple Lakers, for which he was fined $5,000 and suspended one game.
