Ruskin High School, Crewe
Ruskin Community High School is a coeducational comprehensive secondary school in Crewe, Cheshire, England, for pupils aged 11 to 16 years. History The school was founded in 1902 as Crewe County Secondary School in rooms at the then Technical College in Flag Lane and moved to the new Ruskin Road building in 1909. The name changed to Crewe County Grammar School after the Education Act 1944. The last CCGS reunion was held in 2012 for pupils who entered the school in 1971 or 1972. When secondary education in Crewe was reorganised the school became the Ruskin County High School (and fully comprehensive) in 1978. Ruskin High School is located in the southern part of Kansas City, Missouri, United States and is within the Hickman Mills C-1 School District. Ruskin High School's sports teams are called the Golden Eagles. History Ruskin High School had its first graduating class in 1930. In August 2010, former Hickman Mills students merged with the Ruskin student body and became the Ruskin Academy of Engineering. John Ruskin School
John Ruskin School (JRS) is an 11–16 school on Lake Road in Coniston, Cumbria. The school is part of the Rural Academy, a group of nine small schools in Cumbria which was awarded Technology College status in 2004, and a member of the South Lakes Federation of Schools. According to a 2009 Ofsted report, "It capitalises on its small size by providing a very welcoming and friendly ethos where relationships are very good and students and staff know each other well." It was classed as a good school and was noted for outstanding attendance and behaviour. Catchment The school attracts pupils from both the village itself and the surrounding area largely from the respective primary schools of Broughton-in-Furness and Hawkshead.
