The rational unified process (RUP) is an iterative software development process framework created by the Rational Software Corporation, a division of IBM since 2003. RUP is not a single concrete prescriptive process, but rather an adaptable process framework, intended to be tailored by the development organizations and software project teams that will select the elements of the process that are appropriate for their needs. Restricted use pesticides (RUP) are pesticides not available to the general public in the United States. Fulfilling its pesticide regulation in the United States, pesticide regulation responsibilities, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registers all pesticides as either "unclassified" or "restricted use". Unclassified pesticides are available over-the-counter, while the latter require a license to purchase and apply the product. Pesticides are classified as "restricted use" for a variety of reasons, such as potential for or history of groundwater contamination. Rup Dialects
The Rup dialects (), or the Southeastern dialects, are a group of Bulgarian dialects located east of the yat boundary, thus being part of the Eastern dialect. The range of the Rup dialects includes the southern part of Bulgaria, i.e. Strandzha, the region of Haskovo, the Rhodopes and the eastern half of Pirin Macedonia. Overview Before the Balkan wars and World War I, the Rup dialects covered a much larger territory, including vast areas of Eastern Thrace, Western Thrace and the eastern part of Greek Macedonia. Following the wars, most of the Bulgarian population in these areas fled or resettled to Bulgaria and nowadays, the Rup dialects outside Bulgaria are spoken only by the Muslim Bulgarians (Pomaks) in Western Thrace in Greece. Rupinder "Rup" Singh Magon is an Indian-Canadian singer, songwriter, producer, actor and author born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. He is a co-lead singer of JoSH, a South Asian fusion band. Music career Rup founded Josh in 1996 with his brother, Rik Magon, and good friend Shiraz 'Shazi' Hussain. They were joined by Qurram 'q' Hussein, Rup's current band-mate, in 1998, and two years later Rup and Q embarked on their own path for JoSH without Rik and Shiraz. The Rural and Urban Political Party was a political party in Solomon Islands which contested the 2010 general election. The party was founded in June 2010 by MP Samuel Manetoali as a split-away from the Party for Rural Advancement. The party's stated policy priorities were economic growth and security. Manetoali called for small business centres to be set up all over the country, along with appropriate infrastructure, to enable local people's participation in business, and stimulate growth. The Rice University Press was a publishing house, a division of Rice University. Founded in 1985, the original version of the press shut down in 1996. In 2006, the organization was re-launched as the first fully digital university press in the United States.
