Ruokangas Guitars builds solid-body and semi-hollow electric guitars, including models such as Duke, VSOP, Mojo, Hellcat and Unicorn. The company builds guitars using traditional methods – no modern computer-controlled machinery or serial production methods are used. Each guitar is built individually by a luthier. Lordship of the Manor of Harviala was a medieval ''frälse'' possession in Finland. Property Harviala has been an immense property in Southern Häme ( Tavastia) in Finland. The manor and the seat of lordship were in Vanaja. Holders of the property were hereditary, and through at least ten generations, they were mighty regional magnates in Tavastia. Mesa/Boogie (also known as Mesa Engineering) is an American company in Petaluma, California, that manufactures amplifiers and other accessories for guitars and basses. It has been in operation since 1969. Mesa was started by Randall Smith as a small repair shop which modified Fender amplifiers, particularly the diminutive Fender Princeton. Smith's modifications gave the small amps much more input gain, making them much louder as well as creating a high-gain, distorted guitar tone.
