Alice Cecilia Linh Svensson (born 11 July 1991) is a Vietnamese-born Swedish singer. At the age of ten months, Svensson was adopted from her home country Vietnam, and moved to Sweden with her family, and she has since lived in Hedesunda. She finished as runner-up in '' Idol 2008'' and later took part in Melodifestivalen 2017 with the song "Running with Lions". Beginnings Alice was a member of the pop group Popcorn, releasing a record with them at the age of 13. She has participated in a number of talent shows like ''Super Troupers'' in 2004, talent show ''Joker 2006'' where Svensson became first-runner up, in '' Talang'' show in 2007, and the TV4 children's show ''Lattjo lajban''. Anders Wrethov, professionally known as Anderz Wrethov, is a Swedish songwriter and producer. Biography Wrethov was born in Trelleborg and grew up in Vellinge. He graduated from Musikhögskolan in Malmö in 2002. He sings and plays the piano and the guitar. He began learning to play the guitar at the age of seven, and also took piano lessons. In the 1980s he started listening to hard rock music, and playing the electric guitar. Since graduating from Musikhögskolan, where he studied guitar, piano and song, he has worked as a producer and songwriter. Career Wrethov has worked with a number of artists in Sweden and abroad; he and his sister Elin were part of the songwriting team for the song Always, the Azerbaijani entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2009. He has also co-written and produced songs for Melodifestivalen, the Swedish qualifying contest for the Eurovision Song Contest, several times. Melodifestivalen 2017 was the 57th edition of the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen, which selected Sweden's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. The competition was organised by Sveriges Television (SVT) and took place over a six-week period between 4 February and 11 March 2017. The format of the competition consisted of 6 shows: 4 heat rounds, a second chance round and a final. An initial 28 entries were selected for the competition through three methods: an open call for song submissions, direct invitations to specific artists and songwriters and a wildcard given to one of the artists that participated in the ''Svensktoppen nästa'' competition organised by Sveriges Radio P4.
