Megan Slankard
Megan Slankard (born June 6, 1983, Tracy, California) is an American musician and singer-songwriter. Early life Slankard began learning the guitar when she was 10 years old. At age 17, Slankard produced and recorded her first album, '' Lady is a Pirate'', with her brother at home on her computer. Career After turning 18, Slankard toured with David Knopfler as the opening act for his European tour and co-wrote the title song of his album '' Ship of Dreams''. In July 2004, Slankard appeared on an episode of TLC's '' What Not to Wear''. The episode first aired July 16, 2004. Slankard's album ''Freaky Little Story'' appeared on the ''Acoustic Guitar'' 2004 Top 5 list and became a top ten seller on the Amazon CD sales chart. Alex Wong (producer, Musician)
Alex Liang Wong (born 1974) is an American record producer, multi-instrumentalist (including guitar, piano, drums, waterphone), and singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. Wong released his first solo studio album, ''A City on a Lake'', in (2012). He has written, co-written, produced, and performed on numerous other albums; a partial list appears below in the Discography section. For his engineering contribution to "Aire soy", track 2 of Miguel Bosé's 2012 album ''Papitwo'', Wong received Latin Grammynomination. Career Wong began his career in 1997 when he joined The Din Pedals. Chosen for his classically trained percussion skills, Wong replaced James Grundler on the drums, with Grundler becoming the front-man for the group. John Vanderslice (born May 22, 1967 in Gainesville, Florida) is an American musician, songwriter, record producer, and recording engineer. He is the owner and founder of Tiny Telephone, an analog recording studio with locations in San Francisco Mission District and North Oakland. He released 10 full-length albums and 5 remix records and EPs on Dead Oceans and Barsuk Records and has collaborated with musicians such as The Mountain Goats, St. Vincent, and Spoon. Since 2014, Vanderslice has been a full-time record producer at Tiny Telephone and has worked with Frog Eyes, Samantha Crain, the Mountain Goats, and Grandaddy.
