Rune Massing (born 18 August 1980, Leeuwarden) is a Dutch professional badminton player. 2002 and 2003 he won the German team championships with SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen. Runes are the Letter (alphabet), letters in a set of related alphabets, known as runic rows, runic alphabets or futharks (also, see ''#Futharks, futhark'' vs ''#Runic alphabets, runic alphabet''), native to the Germanic peoples. The Svingerud Runestone dates from between AD 1 and 250.
