Michael Aitkens (born 1947) is a British actor and writer of drama scripts for movies, television and stage. His BBC situation comedy '' Waiting for God'', first shown in 1990, was BAFTA nominated. Early life Michael Aitkens was educated at Haileybury in England. He then lived in Australia for ten years and Los Angeles, United States, for two years, graduating from the AFI Conservatory (Los Angeles) in 1981. Career Aitkens has worked in film, television and theatre since the late 1960s. More than 150 of his scripts have been produced in the UK, United States and Australia. Julieanne Newbould
Julieanne Newbould (born 1957) is an Australian actress who first came to prominence in the 1970s. Career Television Newbould was 16 years old when she played Karen in the 1974 ABC telemovie '' Lindsay’s Boy'' set during the Second World War. Late in the same year she appeared in the six-part comedy series ''The Rise and Fall of Wellington Boots'', also on the ABC. She then worked in several television series for the Grundy Organisation, and in 1977 played a guest role in the soap opera, ''The Young Doctors''. Raymond Francis Meagher (born 4 July 1944) is an Australian actor, who has appeared in Australian film and television since the mid-1970s. He is notable as the longest continuing performer in an Australian television role, portraying Alf Stewart on ''Home and Away'', having played the role since the first episode in 1988. Meagher won a Gold Logie Award for his role in ''Home and Away'' in 2010 and has currently played the role of Alf for over 37 years. Barbara Stephens is an Australian former actress, appearing on film, TV and in the theatre. Career Stephens played the lead roles in 1960 TV play '' The Torrents'', 1976 ABC TV comedy series '' Who Do You Think You Are?'' (as Kelly) and 1985 film ''Warming Up'' (as Juliet).
