Rumeysa Gelgi (born 1 January 1997) is a Turkish advocate and web developer. She is currently the tallest living woman recognized by the Guinness World Records since 2021. Following Amge's 18th birthday on 16 December 2011, she was officially declared the world's shortest living woman by Guinness World Records with a height of . Sultan Kösen (born 10 December 1982) is a Turkish farmer who holds the Guinness World Record for tallest living male at . Kösen's growth resulted from the conditions gigantism and acromegaly, caused by a tumour affecting his pituitary gland. Due to his condition, he uses crutches to walk.
