Rumble Doll
''Rumble Doll'' is the debut full-length album from singer-songwriter Patti Scialfa. It features twelve tracks, eleven by Scialfa and one co-written with Mike Campbell. It also features a number of guest stars in production and playing roles, namely Campbell and Bruce Springsteen, as well as Kenny Aronoff, Jim Keltner, Nils Lofgren, Jeff Porcaro and Benmont Tench. Critical reception AllMusic's Tim Griggs called the album "a slow seduction". He called the title track "a gem", and praised the production, which he called "low-key compared to 60's girl singers produced by Phil Spector." Vivienne Patricia Scialfa ( ; born July 29, 1953) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. Scialfa has been a member of the E Street Band since 1984 and has been married to Bruce Springsteen since 1991. In 2014, Scialfa was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the E Street Band. Bob Clearmountain (born Chiaramonte, January 15, 1953) is an American mixing engineer and record producer, best known for his work with major acts, including Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Roxy Music, Pretenders, and Bryan Adams. Described by '' Sound on Sound'' magazine as having "his name on more hit records than anyone else in the history of popular music", he is credited with establishing the role of mixing engineer. Soozie Tyrell (born May 4, 1957), formerly known as Soozie Kirschner, is an American violinist, guitarist, and vocalist, most known for her work with Bruce Springsteen in the E Street Band and formerly the Sessions Band. Early life and education Tyrell was born in Pisa, Italy, and as the daughter of a military serviceman travelled extensively, ultimately settling in Florida, where she briefly studied music theory at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Roy Bittan
Roy J. Bittan (born July 2, 1949) is an American musician best known as a long-time member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. Nicknamed "The Professor", Bittan joined the E Street Band in 1974. He plays the piano, organ, accordion and synthesizers. Bittan was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 as a member of the E Street Band. Aside from his membership in the E Street Band, Bittan has worked as a session musician for singer-songwriters and rock and pop artists. Tim Pierce
Tim Pierce (born 1958 in Albuquerque) is an American session guitarist. He has worked for artists such as Joe Cocker, Crowded House, Goo Goo Dolls, Michael Jackson, Beth Hart, Roger Waters, Alice Cooper, Johnny Hallyday, Phil Collins, and the Cheetah Girls. Pierce's parents were not musicians, although, unbeknownst to Pierce, his father used to play the trumpet in his youth. Gary Mallaber (born October 11, 1946, in Buffalo) is an American musician from Los Angeles, mostly known as a drummer, but plays percussion, vibraphone, and keyboards. In addition, he is a songwriter, arranger, composer, producer, engineer, and actor. He began music lessons at six years old at PS #45. He attended Lafayette High School, where he and Bobby Militello, along with other musicians, were mentored by saxophonist Sam Scamacca.
