Rule The World (TV Series)
''Rule the World'' () is a 2017 Chinese television series based on the novel ''Du Bu Tian Xia'' by Li Xin. It stars Raymond Lam and Tang Yixin alongside Zhang Rui, Jing Gangshan, Li Zhinan and Qu Chuxiao. The series started airing on Tencent Video from 30 November 2017 at 20:00 (CST). Synopsis Bu Youran, a novelist, finds herself drawn to the story of Dongge who is known as the most beautiful woman among the Jurchen people. Dongge has been hailed as someone who can make or break a nation and becomes the centre of power struggles of many men. For political reasons, her brother presents her to Nurhaci as a gift. She also has to face Cuyen's advances, Daišan's gentler tendencies, Dorgon's unruliness and Hong Taiji's incomparable love. Jirgalang
Jirgalang or Jirhalang (Manchu: ; 19 November 1599 – June 11, 1655) was a Manchu noble, regent, and political and military leader of the early Qing dynasty. Born in the Aisin Gioro clan, he was the sixth son of Šurhaci, a younger brother of Nurhaci, the founder of the Qing dynasty. From 1638 to 1643, he took part in many military campaigns that helped destroy the Ming dynasty. After the death of Huangtaiji (Nurhaci's successor) in September 1643, Jirgalang became one of the young Shunzhi Emperor's two co-regents, but he soon yielded most political power to co-regent Dorgon in October 1644. Dorgon eventually purged him of his regent title in 1647. After Dorgon died in 1650, Jirgalang led an effort to clean the government of Dorgon's supporters. ''Scarlet Heart'' (, lit. ''Startling by Each Step'') is a 2011 Chinese television series based on the novel '' Bu Bu Jing Xin'' by Tong Hua. Time Slip
A time slip is a plot device in fantasy and science fiction in which a person, or group of people, seem to accidentally travel through time by unknown means, or by a means unknown to the character(s). Time slip is one of the main plot devices of time travel stories, another being a time machine. The difference is that in time slip stories, the protagonist typically has no control and no understanding of the process (which is often never explained at all) and is either left marooned in a past or future time and must make the best of it, or is eventually returned by a process as unpredictable and uncontrolled as the journey out. Akdun (; Manchu: ''Akdun''; Styled: Lixuan, 立軒; May 4, 1685 – February 22, 1756) was an official of the Qing dynasty. He was a member of the Janggiya (章佳) clan and of the Manchu Plain Blue Banner. He was the father of the Qing dynasty official and general Agui. Bumbutai (; mnc, m= ; zh, 布木布泰; 28 March 1613 – 27 January 1688), of the Khorchin Mongol Borjigit clan, was the consort of Hong Taiji. She was 21 years his junior. She was honoured as Empress Dowager Zhaosheng during the reign of her son, Fulin, the Shunzhi Emperor, and as Grand Empress Dowager Zhaosheng during the reign of her grandson, Xuanye, the Kangxi Emperor. Jerjer (; translated as "lady"/"beauty"; 31 May 1599 – 28 May 1649), of the Khorchin Mongol Borjigit clan, was the consort of Hong Taiji. She was seven years his junior. Gintaisi
Gintaisi (Manchu: ; died September 29, 1619), known as Jintaishi () or Jintaiji () in Chinese, was a Jurchen beile (chieftain) of the Yehe tribal confederation. He was the younger brother of Narimbulu, and became one of the two beile of the Yehe tribe after the death of his brother which took place sometime before 1613. In 1613, Bujantai the beile of the Ula tribe had fled to the Yehe after the defeat of his forces at the hands of Nurhaci. Gintaisi gave him protection and when attacked by Nurhaci, he appealed to the Ming Chinese for help. In 1615, he attempted to appease the Mongols on the west by marrying his cousin (who had eighteen years before been promised to Nurhaci) to the Khalka beile. Yehe Nara Clan
The Yehe Nara clan (, ) is one of the main branches of the Nara clan of Manchu people, Manchu origin. It is the family surname of the (chieftains) of the Yehe tribe of the Haixi Jurchens. The clan's progenitor was a Mongols, Mongol named Singgen darhan (, ), who changed his surname to Nara after capturing the territory of the Hulun state's Zhang City, originally belonging to the Nara clan. Empress Xiaoliewu (1590 – 1 October 1626), of the Manchu Plain White Banner Ula Nara clan, personal name Abahai, was a consort of Nurhaci. She was 31 years his junior.
