Ruisi (village)
Ruisi ( ka, რუისი ) is a village in Kareli District of Shida Kartli region of the Republic of Georgia. Situated about 3 km from the district administrative center Kareli and 10 km from the city of Gori, Ruisi is one of the oldest centers of Christianity in Georgia. Kareli ( ka, ქარელის მუნიციპალიტეტი, tr) is a district of Georgia, in the region of Shida Kartli. Ruisi Cathedral
The Ruisi cathedral of the Mother of God ( ka, რუისის ღვთისმშობლის ტაძარი, tr) is a Georgian Orthodox church in the village of Ruisi in Georgia's east-central Shida Kartli region.
