Rufus Gerrard-Wright, known as Rufus Wright, is an English film, stage and television actor. Personal life Wright is the son of Major-General Richard Gerrard-Wright and his wife, Susan (née Young). He is the younger brother of Lance Gerrard-Wright, who was the second husband of television presenter Ulrika Jonsson. Both brothers attended Lambrook Preparatory School at Winkfield Row in Berkshire. Wright is married to actress Melanie Gutteridge. Major-general (United Kingdom), Major-General Richard Eustace John Gerrard-Wright (9 May 1930 – 12 May 2012) was a British Army officer. Military career Educated at Christ's Hospital and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Tabor was commissioned into the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment in 1949. He was deployed to the Suez Canal, Suez Canal Zone and to Kenya and then saw action during the Malayan Emergency. He became commanding officer of a battalion of the Royal Anglian Regiment and in that role was deployed to Northern Ireland during the Troubles. He went on to be commander of 39th Infantry Brigade (United Kingdom), 39th Infantry Brigade in 1975, Chief of Staff of I Corps (United Kingdom), I (British) Corps in 1978 and General Officer Commanding Eastern District (British Army), Eastern District in 1980. The Gielgud Theatre is a West End theatre, located on Shaftesbury Avenue, at the corner of Rupert Street, in the City of Westminster, London. The house currently has 994 seats on three levels. The theatre was designed by W. G. R. Sprague and opened on 27 December 1906 as the Hicks Theatre, named after Seymour Hicks, for whom it was built. Peter Julian Robin Morgan (born 10 April 1963) is a British screenwriter and playwright. He has written for theatre, films and television, often writing about historical events or figures such as Elizabeth II, Queen Elizabeth II, whom he has covered extensively in all major media. ''The Audience'' is a play by the British playwright and screenwriter Peter Morgan. The play centres on weekly meetings, called audiences, between Queen Elizabeth II (originally played by Helen Mirren) and her prime ministers. Norman "Bill" Limbury Auchinleck Jewell (24 October 1913 – 18 August 2004) was an officer in the Royal Navy. As commander of the submarine HMS ''Seraph'', Jewell was involved in an act of deception during the Second World War. The story of Operation Mincemeat, as the plan was known, became the subject of several books and two films. Early life Jewell was born on Mahé in the Seychelles on 24 October 1913 where his father was a doctor and a colonial officer.
