Rufino Gama
Rufino Walter Gama (born 20 June 1998) is a Timorese professional footballer and top scorer of the national team, the current record scorer for the Timor-Leste national football team with 7 goals. He played for Karketu Dili FC since 2018. He came to Lalenok United in January 2020, to strengthen the Club in the AFC Cup 2020 Playoff match against PSM Makassar. International career Gama made his international debut as an 81st-minute substitute against Malaysia. He scored his first international goal for Timor Leste in the game against Chinese Taipei which ended with a 1–2 defeat. In September 2018, he was selected for the two-legged 2018 AFF Suzuki Cup qualifying matches against Brunei. He started both games as Timor-Leste win to advance to the competition proper, win 3–2 on aggregate. Timor-Leste National Football Team
The Timor-Leste national football team is the national team of East Timor () and is controlled by the Federação de Futebol de Timor-Leste. They joined FIFA on 12 September 2005. Timor-Leste's international debut was in the preliminary round of the 2004 AFC Asian Cup qualification in March 2003, when they lost 3–2 to Sri Lanka and 3–0 to Chinese Taipei. They also participated in the 2004 AFF Championship. Timor-Leste's participation in Southeast Asia's premier international football event in 2004 was announced after an Asian Football Confederation council meeting in Petaling Jaya. Taipei Municipal Stadium
The Taipei Municipal Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Taipei, Taiwan. The original stadium, built in 1956, was used mostly for track and field events. Entertainer Michael Jackson performed two concerts there during his ''Dangerous World Tour'' on 4 and 6 September 1993 in front of a crowd of 80,000. The stadium was demolished and reconstructed for the 2009 Summer Deaflympics between December 2006 and July 2009. The new stadium is able to hold 20,000 people. On 3 July 2011, the stadium recorded its highest attendance for a football game when Chinese Taipei hosted Malaysia in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification - AFC First Round second leg match, when 15,335 spectators attended the game. 2016 AFF Championship Qualification
The 2016 AFF Championship qualification tournament was the qualification process for the 2016 AFF Championship, the eleventh edition of the AFF Championship. It was held in Cambodia and involved either teams that finished last in the group stage of 2014 AFF Championship or lower ranked teams in Southeast Asia. The format was a single round-robin tournament with the top team qualifying for the tournament proper. The matches were originally scheduled to be held between 13 and 22 October, before being announced as shifting forward slightly to the 15 and 21 October 2016 on the day Yanmar and Suzuki confirmed their sponsorship.
