Agustín Rueda Sierra (1952–1978) was an anarchist and anti-Francoist activist, member of Confederación Nacional del Trabajo, Confederación Nacional del Trabajo (CNT) and Coordinadora de presos en lucha, Coordinadora de Presos En Lucha — Prisoners in Struggle Coordinating Body (COPEL). He died in 1978, at the age of 25 in Carabanchel Prison as a result of the torture he received from prison officials. His death led to dismissal and prosecution of the prison director, Eduardo José Cantos Rueda. Biography Agustín Rueda was born in Sallent in 1952, in a working-class family. His mother was a weaver, and his father was a miner; after finishing elementary school in 1966, he started working as an apprentice in a motor factory away from home. Luis Enrique Rueda (born 11 January 1972 in San Rafael, Mendoza) is an Argentine former footballer and head coach that played as a striker. Club career Nicknamed "El Cóndor", Rueda began his professional career at Gimnasia y Tiro in 1996. Youth Rueda attended the Santa Clara University, playing on the men's soccer team from 1987 to 1991. In 1991, the Broncos fell to the Virginia Cavaliers in the NCAA Men's Division I Soccer Championship. Julio Jiménez Rueda (April 10, 1896 – June 25, 1960) was a Mexican lawyer, writer, playwright and diplomat. Biography Jiménez Rueda studied at the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria, and graduated in law at the Universidad Nacional de México (later UNAM) in 1919. Later on, he was appointed as the director of the Escuela Nacional de Arte Teatral of UNAM. He completed a doctoral degree of philosophy and literature in 1935. As a diplomat, he served in Montevideo in 1920, and afterwards in Buenos Aires until 1922. Back in Mexico he was the director of the General Archive of the Nation, and later president of the Centro Mexicano de Escritores.
