Rue du Mail is a French fashion house founded in 2006 by Jimmy K. W. Chan, founder and chairman of Semeiotics, Inc. with Martine Sitbon as its founding designer. Rue du Mail collections are sold both internationally and in the headquarter's boutique. In September 2013, the brand suspended all operations. Rue du Mail hosted its first fashion show during DJ at the Couvent des Cordeliers in 2007. Martine Sitbon
Martine Sitbon is a French fashion designer. Biography After spending her childhood in Morocco and a short stay at the Lycée Chateaubriand in Rome (Chateaubriand High School in Rome), the young Martine Sitbon returned to Paris in the early 1960s with her family. In the early 1970s, Sitbon entered the Studio Berçot in Paris where she studied until 1974. Her appeal for traveling made her work as a freelance designer for various fashion houses around the world. She designed collections in India and Hong-Kong from 1976 to 1980. In the early 1980s until 1985, Sitbon mainly worked between New York and Paris. Between 1984 and 1986, she designed collections in Milan as a freelance designer for Italian fashion houses. Malcolm Robert Andrew McLaren (22 January 1946 – 8 April 2010) was an English fashion designer and music manager. He was a promoter and a manager for punk rock and new wave bands such as New York Dolls, Sex Pistols, Adam and the Ants, and Bow Wow Wow, and was an early commercial architect of the punk subculture. McLaren was brought up by his grandmother after his father, Peter, left the family home. He attended several British art colleges in the 1960s, where he became involved in underground art and left-wing activism.
