Rudy Verhoeff
Rudy Verhoeff (born 24 June 1989) is a Canadian male volleyball player. He is a member of the Canada men's national volleyball team and Swiss club Volley Amriswil, a participant in the 2016 Summer Olympics, a gold and silver medalist at the NORCECA Men's Volleyball Championship in 2015 and 2013, and a bronze medalist at the 2015 Pan American Games. Personal life Rudy Verhoeff was born in Calgary, Alberta to Paul and Cobi Verhoeff. He has three older siblings; Lance, Anya, and Lies, and he began playing volleyball at the age of 14. He is married with Kyla Richey. Playing career Club Rudy was a member of the Trinity Western Spartans from 2007 to 2012. During his time there, he helped the team win back to back CIS Volleyball Championships in 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 season, while being named tournament MVP in 2011 and winning the Dale Iwanoczko Award for outstanding student athlete in 2012. Men's NORCECA Volleyball Championship
The NORCECA Men's Volleyball Championship is the official competition for senior men's national volleyball teams of North America, Central America and the Caribbean, organized by the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA). Since its introduction in 1969 the tournaments have been awarded every two years. Jay Blankenau
Jay Michael Blankenau (born 27 September 1989) is a Canadian professional volleyball player. A member of the Canada national team, and a participant at the Olympic Games ( Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020). Personal life Jay Blankenau was born in Edmonton to Shannon Schurman and Mike Blankenau. He attended both, Mount Royal University, and the University of Calgary, as well as played for both respective teams. Career Blankenau began his post–school volleyball career training at the Team Canada Full Time Training Center in Gatineau. He spent the 2012/13 and 2014/15 season there, spending a season at Greek club MAS Niki Aiginio in between. Blair Cameron Bann (born 26 February 1988) is a Canadian male volleyball player. He is a member of the Canada men's national volleyball team and German club Düren, a participant in the 2016 Summer Olympics, and a gold and silver medalist at the NORCECA Men's Volleyball Championship in 2015 and 2013. Kyla Richey
Kyla Richey (born 20 June 1989) is a Canadian volleyball player. She is a member of the Canada women's national volleyball team since she made the Senior A team in 2008. Prior to that, she was a part of the Junior National team for three years from 2015-2017. Kyla is the current captain of Team Canada under head coach Tom Black. Her career is one of the longest Team Canada Women's Team stints in history competing at three consecutive World Championships. She was part of the Canadian national team at the 2010 World Championships in Japan, the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Italy, and 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship.
