Ruaridh Silvio James MacGillivray-Mollica (born 14 October 1999; pronounced Rur-ee Mall-ika) is a Scottish actor, writer, and director. For his performance in the film ''Sebastian (2024 film), Sebastian'' (2024), he was nominated for a British Independent Film Award. On television, he appeared in the Channel 5 (British TV channel), Channel 5 series ''Witness Number 3'' and the BBC Three series ''Red Rose (TV series), Red Rose'' (both 2022). Mollica was named one of ''Screen Internationals 2024 Rising Stars Scotland. Early life and education Mollica was born in Prato, Italy to a Scottish mother and an Italian father. Mollica attended Broughton High School, Edinburgh, Broughton High School in Edinburgh. He joined the Strange Town youth theatre company, where he met his agent Ruth Hollyman. Film Fest Gent, also known as International Film Fest Gent, is an annual international film festival in Ghent, Belgium. ''Sunshine on Leith'' is a 2013 British romantic musical film directed by Dexter Fletcher. It is an adaptation of the stage musical of the same name, a jukebox musical featuring songs by The Proclaimers. The Brockley Jack Theatre (also known as the Jack Studio Theatre) is an Off West End theatre in the Crofton Park area of Lewisham, south London. It shares a building with the Brockley Jack pub.
