Rozkoš Reservoir () is a reservoir in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. With an area of , it is the List of dams and reservoirs in the Czech Republic, eighth largest reservoir in the country. Location Rozkoš is located in the Hradec Králové Region and is the largest body of water in the region. It is nicknamed "East Bohemian Sea". The town of Česká Skalice is situated on its shore. Apart from Česká Skalice, the reservoir also extends into the municipal territories of Velká Jesenice, Provodov-Šonov and Nahořany. From the geomorphological point of view, Rozkoš lies in the Orlice Table. Characteristic The reservoir is fed by the streams Rovenský and Rozkoš, and by a long canal from the Úpa River. Czech Radio
Czech Radio (, ČRo) is the public radio broadcaster of the Czech Republic operating continuously since 1923. It is the oldest national radio broadcaster in continental Europe and the second-oldest in Europe after the BBC. Orlice Table
The Orlice (, ) is a river in the Czech Republic, with a brief stretch in Poland. It is a left tributary of the Elbe River. It flows through the Hradec Králové Region. It is formed by the confluence of the Divoká Orlice and Tichá Orlice rivers. Together with the Divoká Orlice, which is its main source, the Orlice is long, of which is in the Czech Republic, making it the 14th longest river in the country. Without the Divoká Orlice, it is long. Etymology The name is derived from the Slavic word ''orel'', i.e. 'eagle' (literally "female eagle"). The river probably got its name from the abundance of eagles, but it could also have just been the accidental catch of an eagle.
