Rozen-e-Deewar
''Rozen-e-Deewar'' is the first album recorded by Pakistani music band Roxen. Blending pop and rock, Roxen's debut album was released on August 31, 2006. ''Rozen-e-Deewar'' was released under Fire Records (Pakistan), HOM Records (India), Sangeet Records (United States, Canada, North America, and across the world). Etymology "''Rozen-e-Deewar''" is an Urdu word that means "A hole in a wall (of a prison cell) from which a ray of light emerges which gives hope and freshness". The name of the band is also a corruption of the same word (Roxen) and was suggested by Kashaan, a friend of Mustafa Zahid. Track listing The album consists of ten songs. Critical reception ''Rozen-e-Deewar'' has received positive reviews and enabled the band to garner a cult following. Rizwana Malik of ''PakManzil'' called it worth the wait. Roxen (band)
Roxen ( ) is a Pakistani rock band from Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The band had a debut studio album ''Rozen-e-Deewar'', released in 2006. Following this, the band had singles "Toh Phir Aao" and "Tera Mera Rishta" which featured as soundtracks for the Bollywood movie '' Awarapan'' in 2007. Music Roxen was formed back in September 2002 with initial line up of Mustafa "Musti" Zahid, Jawad, known onstage as Jodi, and Omar. Their debut song was "Yaadein". After a couple of months they came out with web release of the demo song, "Toh Phir Aao". The song registered over 65000 downloads in one month. Roxen's debut album, ''Rozen-E-Deewar'', was released on 31 August 2006, on Fire Records in Pakistan, Hom Records in India, and Sangeet Records in the United States, Canada, and the Middle East. 7th Lux Style Awards
The 2008 Lux Style Awards, officially known as the 7th Lux Style Awards ceremony, presented by the Lux Style Awards honours the best films of 2008 and took place at the DHA Golf Club, Karachi on 29 October 2008. This year, the city of lights played host to the Pakistani Film Industry. It was the first Lux Style Awards ceremony broadcast by Geo TV. Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan
Zulfiqar "Xulfi" Jabbar Khan (born 28 October 1980) is a Pakistani composer, singer-songwriter, music producer and a guitarist. Starting his career in 1994, Khan is the recipient of multiple awards in Pakistan. He is currently working on the television series ''Coke Studio (Pakistani TV program), Coke Studio'', for which he is the producer and mentor. Mustafa Zahid
Mustafa Zahid (born 18 December 1984) is a Pakistani music composer and singer who gained success with his 2007 singles "Toh Phir Aao" and "Tera Mera Rishta." He has sung several hit songs for Bollywood films and is also the band leader and lead vocalist of Roxen, a rock band formed in 2004. Early life Mustafa was born in Lahore. He is the nephew of Ali Azmat, the former lead vocalist of the famous rock band Junoon, and is also related to the late Sufi kalam singer, actor, director, and producer Inayat Hussain Bhatti. As a child, he never thought he would become a singer. Known for his daring personality from a young age, he once hosted a college event where his professors asked him to sing.
