Rosalyn "Roz" Bulmer (born 4 May 1979 from Norwich) is an English darts player, who currently plays in British Darts Organisation events. She qualified for the 2019 BDO World Darts Championship. Career In 2018, Bulmer qualified for the 2019 BDO World Darts Championship as after the year's performances saw her placed 12th on the rankings. She was defeated by Sharon Prins in the first round. 2019 BDO World Darts Championship
The 2019 BDO World Professional Darts Championship was the 42nd World Championship organised by the British Darts Organisation, and the 34th and final staging at the Lakeside Country Club at Frimley Green. Glen Durrant was the two-time defending men's champion after beating Mark McGeeney, 7–6 in the previous year's final. Durrant successfully defended his title to become the first three times consecutive BDO Men's World Champion since Eric Bristow in 1986, and the first male player in history to win his first three world championship finals. Lisa Ashton was the two-time defending women's champion, after winning her fourth world title, with a 3–1 win over Anastasia Dobromyslova in 2018, but was defeated in the first round by Mikuru Suzuki. British Darts Organisation
The British Darts Organisation (BDO) was a darts organisation founded on 7 January 1973 by Olly Croft, and dissolved in 2020 under the stewardship of Des Jacklin. Made up of 66 member counties, it oversaw professional, semi-professional and amateur darts competitions in Britain. The BDO was a founder member of the World Darts Federation in 1974. It also staged a World Professional Darts Championship from 1978 to 2020. In the early 1990s, a dispute between Olly Croft and the top darts players over the decline in TV coverage and sponsorship led to an acrimonious split in the game, with the players breaking away to form their own governing body which became the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Sharon Prins
Sharon Prins (also known by her married name Sharon Boxem-Prins; born 24 August 1988) is a former Dutch darts player who played in events of the British Darts Organisation (BDO). Career Prins was born in 1988 in Zoetermeer and became a darts player in 2006. Her nickname is "Racing Angel" and follows from her passion for motorcycling. Prins plays darts since 2006. She managed to qualify for the BDO Women World Championship 2013, where she lost in the semi-final to Lisa Ashton.
