Royal Family Order Of Kelantan
The Most Esteemed Royal Family Order of Kelantan or the Star of Yunus ( Malay: ''Darjah Kerabat Yang Amat Di-Hormati'' or ''Bintang Al-Yunusi'') is an honorific order of the Sultanate of Kelantan. History Instituted on 9 August 1916, this order is conferred on members of the Kelantan royal family and members of other royal families in Malaysia. It is also presented to individuals in high positions who have contributed significantly to the State. Classes The order is awarded in a single class, ''Star of Yunus'' or ''Bintang al-Yunusi'' (DK). The maximum number of recipients at one time is 25 living persons, but there are no limits for honorary recipients of the order. Tengku Abdul Aziz bin Tengku Mohd Hamzah (; 10 September 1933 – 20 September 2020) was a Malaysian diplomat and member of the Kelantan royal family. He served as the Malaysian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 1975 to 1978 and the Malaysian Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands from 1978 to 1982. He was the elder brother of the former Member of Parliament for Gua Musang, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah. Early life and education Tengku Abdul Aziz was born in Kota Bharu, Kelantan on 10 September 1933. Tengku Muhammad Fa-iz Petra ibni Almarhum Sultan Ismail Petra ( Jawi: ; born 20 January 1974) is a member of the Kelantan royal family who served as the Tengku Mahkota (Crown Prince) of Kelantan from 18 October 2010 to 4 January 2024.
