Roy Theodore Graham
Roy Theodore Graham (11 December 1887 – 26 February 1965) was a Liberal Party of Canada, Liberal party member of the House of Commons of Canada. He was born in Smiths Falls, Ontario, and became a barrister by career. Graham attended school at Smiths Falls, then one year at Osgoode Hall Law School. He was elected to Parliament at the Swift Current—Maple Creek, Swift Current riding in the 1940 Canadian federal election, 1940 general election then defeated in the 1945 Canadian federal election, 1945 election by Thomas John Bentley of the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation. He was appointed a judge of the Court of King's Bench for Saskatchewan in 1949. He resigned owing to ill-health in 1960. Smiths Falls, Ontario
Smiths Falls is a town in Eastern Ontario, Canada, southwest of Ottawa. As of the 2021 Canadian census, 2021 census it has a population of 9,254. It is in the Census division for Lanark County, but is administratively separated from the county. The Rideau Canal waterway passes through the town, with four separate locks in three locations and a combined lift of over . The town's name was previously spelled Smith's Falls, and the spelling Smith Falls has been used, but "Smiths Falls" is the official correct form. History Early history and naming Smiths Falls was incorporated first as a village in 1854, and then as a town in 1882. It is named after Thomas Smyth, a United Empire Loyalist who in 1786 was granted in what is present-day Smiths Falls. The Court of King's Bench for Saskatchewan (Court of Queen's Bench for Saskatchewan during the reign of female monarchs) is the Superior court, superior trial court for the Provinces and territories of Canada, Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Swift Current—Maple Creek (previously known as Swift Current) was a federal electoral district in Saskatchewan, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1917 to 1988.
