Roy Cooke is a professional poker player, poker consultant and author living in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 12, 1957. He spent his childhood in Derby (England) and Bellevue, Washington. Before taking up poker full-time, he attended the University of Washington where he majored in computer science. Cooke has been a licensed real estate broker in Las Vegas since 1990. He is a member of the Summerlin chapter of Toastmasters, of which he was president in 2006. He is married to the former Francine Piano (Misty). They have one daughter, Krystle, born on August 16, 1992. Randy Blumer (born October 21, 1958 in Edmonton, Alberta) is widely acknowledged as having started the multibillion-dollar online poker industry with the launch of Planet Poker, the world's first real money online poker room on January 1, 1998. Philip Stewart Gordon (born July 6, 1970) is an American professional poker player, commentator and author. Personal life Gordon was born in El Paso, Texas. He spent his formative years in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Gordon began attending Georgia Tech at the age of 15 while still attending high school. At the end of the 11th grade and after being awarded the National Merit Scholarship, Gordon dropped out of high school and attended Georgia Tech full-time. Michael Richard Sexton (September 22, 1947September 6, 2020) was an American professional poker player and commentator. He was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2009. Early years Sexton was a gymnast and attended Ohio State University, where he earned a degree in public recreation after changing majors from business. He joked that he majored in poker because he played very frequently in college. He also regularly played contract bridge and taught classes on it in North Carolina.
