Rowthiram
''Rowthiram'' () is a 2011 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language martial arts film written and directed by newcomer Gokul (director), Gokul . Produced by R. B. Choudary, the film stars his son Jiiva and Shriya Saran, with Sentrayan, Jayaprakash (actor), Jayaprakash and Lakshmy Ramakrishnan appearing in supporting roles. It released on 12 August 2011. Upon release, it opened to mixed reviews due to the weak storyline. However, the performances of Jiiva and Shriya received high praise from the critics and audience, alike. After a few days of the theatrical release, the ending of the film was changed, as per the response of the audience, to a positive one. Plot The film starts in the 1990s. Jiiva
Amar Choudary (born 4 January 1984), known professionally as Jiiva, is an Indian actor and film producer who works mainly in Tamil cinema and a few Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi films. He is the youngest son of film producer R. B. Choudary. He began his career as a child actor in 1991 in films produced by his father. He made his debut as a lead actor in his father's 50th production, '' Aasai Aasaiyai'' (2003). Shriya Saran Bhatnagar ( born 11 September 1982) is an Indian actress who primarily works in Telugu language, Telugu, Tamil language, Tamil and Hindi films. Although Saran aspired to become a dancer, she became an actress and made her film debut with the Telugu film ''Ishtam (2001 Telugu film), Ishtam'' (2001).
