Kazi Faruque Kader
Kazi Faruque Kader is a Bangladeshi Jatiya Party politician and the former Member of Parliament from Nilphamari-3. Career Kader was nominated from Nilphamari-3 constituency in 2008 as a candidate of Jatiya Party of the Grand Alliance. He was elected to parliament in 2008. Jatiya Party (Ershad)
The Jatiya Party ( bn, জাতীয় পার্টি, translit=Jatiyo Party, lit=National Party) is a conservative, nationalist political party in Bangladesh and is currently the main opposition in the Jatiya Sangsad, against the Awami League. The current chairman of the party is Ghulam Muhammad Quader. On 3 January 2019, the party announced its decision to join the Bangladesh Awami League-led Grand Alliance after having been in opposition for the previous parliamentary term. However, the party backtracked the next day and announced that it intended to remain part of the opposition. Currently, it holds Rangpur out of Bangladesh's 12 city corporations. History The party was established by a retired army officer, Hussain Mohammad Ershad on 1 January 1986. He was the Chief of Army Staff of Bangladesh Army. Nilphamari-4 is a constituency represented in the Jatiya Sangsad (National Parliament) of Bangladesh since 2019 by Ahsan Adelur Rahman of the Jatiya Party (Ershad). Boundaries The constituency encompasses Saidpur and Kishoreganj upazilas. History The constituency was created in 1984 from a Rangpur constituency when the former Rangpur District was split into five districts: Nilphamari, Lalmonirhat, Rangpur, Kurigram, and Gaibandha. Ahead of the 2018 general election, the Election Commission expanded the boundaries of the constituency.
