CityLink Pink (abbreviated PK) is a bus route operated by the Maryland Transit Administration in Baltimore. The line currently runs from Cedonia in northeast Baltimore to the West Baltimore MARC station. The current bus route is the successor to the 5 Druid Hill Avenue, 27 Federal Street, and Preston Street streetcar lines, and the old Route 5. History The no. 5 designation has been in use since 1916, either as a streetcar or bus, serving various parts of the Maryland Route 129 corridor along with other parts of the Baltimore area. The route has undergone numerous changes to its structure during this time, with expansions, splits, and cutbacks. LocalLink 30 is a bus route operated by the Maryland Transit Administration in Baltimore and its suburbs. It replaced route 44 following the 2017 BaltimoreLink overhaul of the bus network. The line currently runs from Rosedale Industrial Park near Pulaski Highway just outside the Baltimore city limits on the east side of the city across the northern portion of the city to Security Square Mall, with selected peak hour trips to the Social Security Administration. QuickLink 40 is a limited stop bus route operated by the Maryland Transit Administration in Baltimore and its suburbs. Formerly the Quickbus 40, the line was discontinued in June 2017 as part of the BaltimoreLink system rebranding along with the other "Quickbus" limited-stop routes. On August 27, 2023, QuickBus 40 (now QuickLink 40), was re-launched after it was discontinued in 2017. Route QuickLink 40 starts at the North Bend Loop in Westgate, running on Edmondson Avenue until reaching West Baltimore station. It then runs on the Franklin-Mulberry Expressway into Downtown, using the Baltimore and Fayette couplet to travel through Downtown before eastbound buses use Central Avenue to shift onto Fayette Street. CityLink Yellow (abbreviated YL) is a bus route operated by the Maryland Transit Administration in Baltimore and its suburbs. The line currently runs from the intersection of York Road and Northern Parkway to the Riverview, with some trips making short turns at Washington Boulevard and Monroe Street. The line serves the corridors of The Alameda, Kirk Avenue, Guilford Avenue, and Washington Boulevard.
