LocalLink 62 is a bus route in the suburbs of Baltimore, United States. The line currently runs from the Essex campus of the Community College of Baltimore County to Turner's Station in Dundalk, Maryland, Dundalk. The current route serves the Rosedale, Maryland, Rosedale, Middle River, Maryland, Middle River, and Essex, Maryland, Essex areas and the CCBC Essex and Dundalk campuses. The line was previously known as Route 4 prior to the launch of BaltimoreLink. LocalLink Route 62 replaced the entirety of Route 4 on June 18, 2017. QuickLink 40 is a limited stop bus route operated by the Maryland Transit Administration in Baltimore and its suburbs. Formerly the Quickbus 40, the line was discontinued in June 2017 as part of the BaltimoreLink system rebranding along with the other "Quickbus" limited-stop routes. On August 27, 2023, QuickBus 40 (now QuickLink 40), was re-launched after it was discontinued in 2017. Route QuickLink 40 starts at the North Bend Loop in Westgate, running on Edmondson Avenue until reaching West Baltimore station. It then runs on the Franklin-Mulberry Expressway into Downtown, using the Baltimore and Fayette couplet to travel through Downtown before eastbound buses use Central Avenue to shift onto Fayette Street. It then turns south on Highland Avenue, east on Lombard Street, and south on Bayview Avenue through the Bayview Medical Center campus before turning onto Eastern Avenue and continuing until finally terminating at Selig Avenue. Route 15 was a bus route operated by the Maryland Transit Administration in Baltimore and its suburbs. The line currently runs from Security Square Mall, Westview Mall, Windsor Hills, or Walbrook Junction (all in West Baltimore or Baltimore County) through downtown Baltimore and northeast to Overlea, with selected peak hour express trips to Perry Hall. The main roads on which it operated include Security Boulevard, Windsor Mill Road, Forest Park Avenue, Poplar Grove Street, Edmondson Avenue, Saratoga Street, Gay Street, and Belair Road, and was one of the most heavily used bus routes operated by the MTA. Rosedale is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. The population was 19,257 at the 2010 United States census. History The etymology of Rosedale remains uncertain and lacks definitive documentation. However, according to anecdotal evidence, a fourth-grade class in 1950 was instructed to conduct interviews with local residents regarding the history of the Rosedale community. From their interviews, a possible explanation emerged: A young Englishman had a farm on Hamilton Avenue just above Philadelphia Road. His farm had numerous roses. Since his name was Dale and the roses were so lovely, the townspeople settled on the name of Rosedale.
