Pennsylvania Route 179 (PA 179) and Route 179 is an north-south state highway in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and Hunterdon County, New Jersey, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States, running along an old alignment of U.S. Route 202 (US 202) from west of New Hope, Pennsylvania, northeast through Lambertville, New Jersey, to Ringoes, New Jersey, Ringoes, where it ends at an intersection with US 202/New Jersey Route 31, Route 31. Past this intersection, the road continues east as County Route 514 (New Jersey), County Route 514 (CR 514). It is two-lane, undivided highway for most of its length with the exception of a four-lane stretch in Lambertville. The route crosses the Delaware River on the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge, where the designation changes from PA 179 to Route 179. New Hope Railroad
The New Hope Railroad , formerly and colloquially known as the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad and the New Hope Steam Railway and Museum, is a shortline and heritage railroad located in New Hope, Pennsylvania. Today, the railroad operates both steam and diesel powered locomotives and is an associate member of Northeast Operating Rules Advisory Committee. New Hope-Solebury High School
New Hope-Solebury High School is a public high school located in New Hope, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The school houses grades 9 through 12 and is the only public high school located in the New Hope-Solebury School District. The school's mascot is the Lion, and its colors are royal blue and gold. Students are largely received from New Hope-Solebury Middle School, which is on the same campus as New Hope-Solebury High School. As of the 2022–23 school year, the school has 445 students. It runs from U.S. Route 206/ U.S. Route 1 Business (US 206/US 1 Bus.) in Trenton, Mercer County, north to an intersection with US 46 in the Buttzville section of White Township, Warren County. Along the way, Route 31 heads through the communities of Flemington, Clinton, and Washington. Most of the highway is state-maintained; however, the section within the city limits of Trenton is maintained by the city.
