Roundu District
Rondu District (), also spelled Roundu District, is a district of Pakistan-administered Gilgit-Baltistan in the disputed Kashmir region. The application of the term "administered" to the various regions of Kashmir and a mention of the Kashmir dispute is supported by the tertiary sources (a) through (e), reflecting due weight in the coverage. Although "controlled" and "held" are also applied neutrally to the names of the disputants or to the regions administered by them, as evidenced in sources (h) through (i) below, "held" is also considered politicized usage, as is the term "occupied," (see (j) below). Districts Of Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 14 districts in Gilgit–Baltistan, five in Baltistan Division, five in Gilgit Division and four in Diamer Division. The number rose from seven to ten in 2016 after the addition of 2 districts in Baltistan Valley and the bifurcation of the Hunza–Nagar District, Hunza-Nagar district. , there are 14 districts in Gilgit-Baltistan, Gilgit Baltistan, 5 in the Baltistan Division, 5 in the Gilgit Division and 4 in the Diamer Division. This is a list of tehsils of Pakistan, the fourth level of government overall and the middle tier in the local government system. In some areas, the alternative word "taluka" is used but this is merely a historical formality. The list is organised by provinces and territories of Pakistan. Every district of Pakistan is administratively divided into several tehsils. Each tehsil is governed by a Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA), which is focussed around a tehsil/taluka council. The head of each tehsil is a Tehsil/Taluka Nazim, assisted by a tehsil/taluka municipal officer (TMO) and a number of other officials, all of whom are answerable to the tehsil/taluka council. Dambudas
Dambudas () is the capital city of Roundu District in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. History According to local legend, the city was named by Sultan Muhammad bin Tughluq Muhammad bin Tughluq (; ; 1290 – 20 March 1351), or Muhammad II, also named Jauna Khan as Crown Prince, further known by his epithets, The Eccentric Prince, or The Mad Sultan, was the eighteenth Sultan of Delhi. Balti Language
Balti (Perso-Arabic script: , Tibetan script: སྦལ་ཏི།, ) is a Tibetic language natively spoken by the ethnic Balti people in the Baltistan region of Gilgit-Baltistan, Nubra Valley of the Leh district and in the Kargil district of Ladakh, India. The language differs from Standard Tibetan; many sounds of Old Tibetan that were lost in Standard Tibetan are retained in the Balti language. It also has a simple pitch accent system only in multi-syllabic words while Standard Tibetan has a complex and distinct pitch system that includes tone contour.
