Roughton "Rou" Reynolds
Enter Shikari are a British Rock music, rock band formed in St Albans in 1999 by bassist Chris Batten, lead vocalist and keyboardist Rou Reynolds, and drummer Rob Rolfe. In 2003, guitarist Rory Clewlow joined the band to complete its current line-up, and it adopted its current name. In 2006, they performed to a growing fanbase at Download Festival as well as a sold-out concert at the London Astoria. Their debut studio album, ''Take to the Skies'', was released in 2007 and reached number 4 in the UK Albums Chart, Official UK Album Chart, and has since been certified gold in the UK. Their second, ''Common Dreads'', was released in 2009 and debuted on the UK Albums Chart at number 16; while their third, ''A Flash Flood of Colour'', was released in 2012 and debuted on the chart at number 4. Francis John Worsley Roughton
Francis John Worsley Roughton (6 June 1899 – 26 April 1972) was an English physiologist and biochemist. He began to conduct experiments to study the reactions involving haemoglobin and oxygen and went on to make pioneering studies of blood biochemistry and gas interaction kinetics. Along with Hamilton Hartridge, he developed continuous monitoring approaches to study liquid-gas binding reactions and enzyme kinetics. Roughton was born in Kettering and came from a family of physicians. Born with congenital tachycardia, he went to study science at Winchester and Trinity College, Cambridge. Because of his heart condition he was not recruited into World War I. Roughton, Lincolnshire
Roughton ( ) is a village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. The parish population was 644 in 2011. The village lies approximately south from Horncastle and near the hamlets of Thornton and Kirkby-on-Bain. Since 1936 the hamlets of Dalderby and Martin have been part of Roughton civil parish. In the 1086 ''Domesday Book,'' Roughton is noted with 11 households, with Lord of the Manor as King William I. The parish church dates from the 13th century, and is dedicated to Saint Margaret. Built of a "patchwork" of greenstone, limestone and red brick, its construction includes elements from 12th-century Norman to 17th-century brick. It is a Grade II* listed building. The base of a medieval stone cross is in the churchyard; it is both Grade II listed and designated as an ancient scheduled monument.
