Anthony Rotondo (born 1957) is a former capo in the DeCavalcante family of New Jersey and police informant. Early life Anthony Rotondo lived with his father Vincent "Jimmy the Gent" Rotondo, and his father expressed wishes for his son to become a criminal defense lawyer. His father was a union organizer for the Brooklyn chapter of the International Longshoremen's Association and underboss. Vincent was gunned down in front of his Brooklyn home because mob associates thought he might make an attempt to become boss of the family in 1988. In 1973, Rotondo graduated from Nazareth Regional High School in Canarsie, Brooklyn. Nunzio Rotondo
Nunzio Rotondo (11 December 1924 – 15 September 2009) was an Italian jazz trumpeter and bandleader, born in Palestrina. Rotondo began on piano in his youth before taking up trumpet, and had already played with Louis Armstrong on that instrument by the end of the 1940s. Early in the 1950s he played with Flavio Ambrosetti, Bill Coleman, Roy Eldridge, Duke Ellington, Zoot Sims, and Toots Thielemans, and also led his own ensembles which included, among others, Gil Cuppini, Roberto Nicolosi, and Romano Mussolini. In the 1960s, Rotondo did little live performing, but played frequently on radio broadcasts with Gato Barbieri, Franco D'Andrea, Pierre Favre, and Mal Waldron. Paolo Rotondo is a New Zealand director, writer and actor of stage and screen. Biography Rontondo was born in Napoli, Italy, from a Neapolitan father and New Zealand mother of Irish descent. He grew up in Italy and moved to New Zealand when he was eleven. As an actor, Rotondo is best known for his character Andrew Solomon on the New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street. In 2016 he released his debut feature film "Orphans & Kingdoms" to great critical acclaim. He was a lead in the New Zealand feature film Stickmen. Castle Rotondo
Castle Rotondo is a fortress castle in Kaštel Štafilić, Croatia, on the Adriatic coast. It was fully constructed in 1508, on the order of Stefano Štafileo, a Trogirian nobleman. Stafileo ordered its construction in 1508 to protect his lands and the Kozjak's peasants from the Ottomans pillaging. It is situated by a beautiful sea cliff. Parallel to the castle, there is a fortified renaissance house, where there is the Stafileo's family crest, engraved with a bunch of grapes. The grapes are a visual translation of the Štafileo name, which means bunch of grapes in Greek. The crest symbolizes wine making, and the future. There is also an inscription in Latin above the castle gate, which states the original purpose behind the Castle's construction. The southern residential wing of the house has a water gate that still exists today.
