Rotherham Radio, formerly known as RB1 Radio, is an Independent Local Radio station broadcasting to the Rotherham and Sheffield districts of South Yorkshire, England. It launched in September 2020 and rebranded to its current name on 6 March 2023. It has a sister station, Doncaster Radio. Both stations are broadcast from studios at Mexborough Business Centre. Rotherham ( ) is a market town in South Yorkshire, England. It lies at the confluence of the River Rother, South Yorkshire, River Rother, from which the town gets its name, and the River Don, Yorkshire, River Don. Doncaster Radio, formerly known as TX1 Radio, is an Independent Local Radio station broadcasting to the Doncaster and Bassetlaw districts of South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire, England. It launched on September 14, 2020 following the re-branding of Trax FM and other stations as Greatest Hits Radio. It has a sister station, Rotherham Radio.
