Rosli Dhobi
Rosli Dhobi (18 March 1932–2 March 1950) also Rosli Dhoby, was a Sarawakian nationalist from Sibu of mixed Malaysian Malays, Malay-Melanau people, Melanau descent during the British crown colony era in that state. He was a member leader of the Rukun 13, an active organisation in the anti-cession movement of Sarawak, along with Morshidi Sidek, Awang Rambli Deli and Bujang Suntong. It was a secret cell organisation, composed of nationalists, which carried out assassinations of officers of the British colonial government in Sarawak. He was well known for his assassination of Duncan Stewart (British diplomat), Duncan George Stewart, the second governor of Crown Colony of Sarawak, colonial Sarawak, in 1949. Rosli bin Haji Liman (born 12 May 1969) is a retired Brunei international footballer who played for the Brunei M-League representative team as a midfielder. Club career Having appeared for the Wasps since 1988, Rosli was one of the mainstays of the Brunei M-League team in the nineties along with the two keepers Yunos and Ibrahim Abu Bakar, centre-back Liew Chuan Fue and Rosanan Samak. He was the engine of the team and his late runs from midfield contributed goals to a modestly-performing Brunei side that was often faced with adversity. On 8 August 2000 in Singapore, a group of three men, who were armed with firearms with an intent to commit robbery, had robbed and killed a taxi driver in midst of a planned crime spree. The victim was a 42-year-old taxi driver named Koh Ngiap Yong (), whose taxi was taken by the trio as an escape vehicle for future robbery crimes and whom the three men killed by using a bayonet to stab him to death. In the aftermath of Koh's murder, the robbers had committed yet another robbery and also shot and killed their next victim, 39-year-old Jahabar Sathick, an Indian moneychanger. It was only in October 2000 when the three men were finally caught and charged with the murders of Koh Ngiap Yong and the second victim, Jahabar Sathick. On 16 October 2008, during a heated argument inside her car, 47-year-old Choo Xue Ying (朱雪莹 Zhū Xǔeyíng), alias Jennifer Choo, was assaulted to death by a business partner Rosli bin Yassin, AKA Ali and abandoned it at Bukit Batok Nature Park, where Choo's skeletal remains were discovered four days after her death. Che Rosli bin Che Mat (born 16 July 1951) is a Malaysian politician. He was the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Hulu Langat constituency in Selangor for two terms (2008-2018). He is a member of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS). Che Rosli was elected to Parliament in the 2008 election, winning the seat of Hulu Langat, which had previously been held by the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition.
