Rosie Kelly
Rosie Kelly (born 16 January 2000) is a New Zealand professional rugby union and rugby league player who currently plays as a for the North Queensland Cowboys in the NRL Women's Premiership. She previously played for the Parramatta Eels. She played for Matatū before joining Chiefs Manawa for the 2025 Super Rugby Aupiki season. Early life Kelly was born in the West Coast region of the South Island in the small town of Hokitika. She fell in love with rugby at a young age and played with the boys’ team until she was eleven. She attended Christchurch Girls’ High School and was in Year 12 when she was selected in Canterbury's Sevens squad at the end of 2016. Hokitika
Hokitika is a town in the West Coast region of New Zealand's South Island, south of Greymouth, and close to the mouth of the Hokitika River. It is the seat and largest town in the Westland District. 2022 Farah Palmer Cup
The 2022 Farah Palmer Cup season is the 16th season of the competition. The regular season ran from 16 July to 28 August, with the playoffs running from 3 to 10 September. Canterbury won their fifth title after defeating Auckland in the Premiership final and Hawke's Bay won their first Championship title after beating Otago 24–20 at the Clutha Showgrounds in Balclutha. Format The Farah Palmer Cup standings are sorted by a competition points system. Four points are awarded to the winning team, a draw earns two points, whilst a loss amounts to zero points. Unions can also win their side a respectable bonus point. To receive a bonus point, they must score four tries or more, or lose by seven points or less. The Australia women's national rugby union team, also known as the Wallaroos, has competed at all Women's Rugby World Cups since 1998, with their best result finishing in third place in 2010. 2023 Pacific Four Series
The 2023 Pacific Four Series was the third edition of the Pacific Four Series, an international women's rugby union tournament that served as one of the principal qualification routes for the top two tiers of WXV. The tournament was hosted by Spain, Australia and Canada. The series took place over three months. The first round saw Canada and the United States play the opening match in Madrid on 1 April 2023, followed by Australia hosting New Zealand on 29 June 2023 in Brisbane. The series concluded in Canada with all four teams competing over two weekends in early July for the title. 2025 Rugby World Cup
The 2025 Rugby World Cup will be the tenth edition of the women's Rugby World Cup, as organized by World Rugby. It is scheduled to be held in England. It will be the second women's Rugby Union World Cup to be hosted by England, after the 2010 edition. It will be the fifth hosted in the British Isles. The tournament will be expanded to 16 teams, from the 12 which participated in 2021. 2023 Super Rugby Aupiki Season
The 2023 Super Rugby Aupiki season was the second season of Super Rugby Aupiki (known as Sky Super Rugby Aupiki for sponsorship reasons), a professional women's rugby union club competition organised by New Zealand Rugby. The competition ran from 25 February 2023when Hurricanes Poua and Chiefs Manawa played the opening match in Levinto 25 March 2023. The tournament was won by Matatū, who defeated Chiefs Manawa 33–31 in the final in Hamilton, earning them their first Super Rugby Aupiki title. That match also resulted in the Chiefs Manawa's first-ever loss in the two-year-old competition.
